Organisation profile

The primary aim of our current research is to link behaviour and evolution, asking on the one hand how adaptive behaviour evolves and on the other how behaviour shapes the course of evolution. We are also concerned with the conservation of fish biodiversity and are examining the role of behaviour in the survival of endangered populations. Much of the work is based in the neotropics, particularly Trinidad, Mexico and Brasil, though we also have projects in the UK.
