Research overview

I am a theoretical economist. My research interests lie in the field of microeconomic theory and applications, focusing on communication, optimal information disclosure, optimal non-monetary contracts, and robust decision theory.

I am running an ESRC grant project on Theoretical Foundations and Design of Persuasion Mechanisms, together with Hisayuki Yoshimoto (University of Glasgow) and Anton Kolotilin (UNSW Australia).

PhD research projects available

1. Design of persuasion mechanisms (e.g., certification programmes) 2. Non-monetary contract design (e.g., allocation of council housing, allocation of stipends or grants) 3. Decision making, bargaining, and search in unknown or ambiguous environments 4. Any challenging, practically relevant problems involving the microeconomic theory toolset
