Research overview

I am interested in the evolution of the Earth’s atmosphere, and my research involves the use and development of a photochemical model to investigate the history of atmospheric oxygen and carbon dioxide. This includes model prediction of the geochemical imprints of atmospheric processes that can be observed in the geological record. Specifically, I have developed a 1-D photochemical model to predict triple oxygen isotope ratios in geological materials, which can be compared to measurements. My post-doctoral research at SEES focuses on the continued development of the model and its application to a range of non-modern Earth atmospheres.
