Abstract

A CD of 20th and 21st Century works for brass and brass with voice. Included are the new ‘Quintet for Brass’ by Francisco Coll; Eddie McGuire’s ‘Songs from the North’; Malcolm Arnold’s ‘Symphony for Brass’; and ‘The Flannan Isle’ and ‘The Island (An t-Eilean)’ by John Wallace, with soprano Julia Daramy-Williams, mezzo-soprano Ainsley Hamill, and Michiyo Morikawa, piano)
